May we wish you a very happy extra bank holiday weekend. Pupils have been learning about the King's Coronation this week, both in assemblies and today during our celebration today. We hope that you all enjoy watching the ceremony tomorrow. We have set some challenges to the pupils to see what they can learn during the procession and ceremony:
What is the name of the horses pulling the Gold ceremonial carriage?
What is King Edward's crown worth?
How many troops were involved in the procession / ceremony?
How many guests attended the ceremony?
We would also be happy to receive / see any drawings, poems, projects etc that pupils create this weekend.
Very best wishes and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.

TERMLY PARENT SURVEY
To Parents / Carers,
As a school we do termly surveys to support us in gathering data to look at working towards continuous improvement as a school. These questionnaires are collated by an external organisation and so will be completely anonymous. This organisation then provides a report which highlights areas of success and development for the school.
This time we are asking for Parents / Carers to complete a survey, please find the link below. It is a tick box survey in which you rate the statements from 1-5, it takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
Please be open and honest with your answers and remember they are anonymous.
We would greatly appreciate your feedback.
Kind Regards, Mrs A Mistry AHT Workforce Development

HACS in partnership with Hillingdon Health and Care Partners are planning to deliver a two-part parent and young person intervention/workshop for autistic young people who transitioning from primary to secondary school in September 2023.(Please see attached flyer)
We know that the transition from primary to secondary school can be a worrying time for parents and young people. Funded by Hillingdon Health and Care Partners, we are running a new programme so that parents are empowered to support their child through this difficult change and young people have an opportunity to talk about their worries and get practical tips for how to cope during this time.
This is a two-stage programme, starting with a webinar for parents/carers, followed by a practical support workshop for parents and their child.
Stage 1
A workshop to educate parents/carers on why transitions are challenging for autistic young people. We will focus on the four areas of difference in autism and associated challenges with executive functioning, together with practical tips to prepare for the change. The webinar will provide a safe space for parents to discuss their fears and worries about the primary to secondary transition.
Part One: Webinar for Parents
Date: Wednesday 10th May 2023
Time: Choose from 10 am-12pm or 7pm-9pm
Location: Virtual Zoom Link
Stage 2
HACS will then host a practical workshop attended by both the parent and young person to work through their worries and coping strategies to aid a smoother transition, i.e., expectations at secondary school, problem-solving activities for common scenarios etc.
