Dear Families
It was lovely to catch up with some of you on Monday at the Annual Review Day. Next year we will be running the annual reviews differently, under the direction of our new Annual Review Lead, Pam. She will liaise with you and your child's class teacher to arrange a mutually convenient review date and time. She will also be tracking all annual review / EHCP paperwork. Just a reminder that we always hold an annual review within an academic year, but we don't stick to the anniversary of the EHCP. We prioritise leavers in the Autumn term and push new pupils back to the summer term, giving us more time to get to know them.
Coming Up!
- Next week, on Monday and Tuesday, we are welcoming three experienced Headteachers into school for our Peer Review. Pupils have been introduced to the photos of the visitors in Tuesday's assembly. The reviewers will be going into lots of classes and meeting staff and pupils, and we look forward to the feedback to support us on our development journey.
- Pupils and parents will be receiving a questionnaire about our curriculum this term. We want to know what you think and to see if there are any areas we are missing that would support Meadow pupils in their development.
- Our annual Prom for pupils in Years 11,12,13 and 14 will be held again this July. If you have any outfits you no longer wear that are in good condition, we would love to have them as a donation to our Prom Shop. This might include: men's suits; waistcoats; ties; bow ties; shirts; ball gowns; prom dresses; cocktail dresses; saris and other traditional male and female dress.
Just Giving
Some families have asked for the Just Giving details of Miss Lennon's page. If you would like to make a donation to Michael Sobell House in her name, please use the following link: www.justgiving.com/page/Dee-Lennon
Very best wishes to you all for a lovely weekend.
Mrs J Rigby
Headteacher

Pathway 1
Liam, Class JR
Liam likes making things, he’s very good at making models and adapting toys. During the half-term, Liam took a Rubik’s Cube and a broken gaming keyboard and made himself an awesome fidget called “The Key Rubik’s Cube”.
Here, Liam has typed up instructions for how to make the fidget:
Get a rubik cube.
Get a broken gaming keyboard.
Get a hot glue gun.
Glue the keys on to the rubik cube.
